The Sherman Oaks training center offers 10,000 sq ft. of premier training space with a state-of-the art heavy bag system, a standalone heavy-duty gauge steel fitness rig, and spacious training rooms. With approximately 110 classes scheduled on a weekly basis with talented, certified and highly-skilled instructors and experts, KMW provides the best training in self-defense and fitness. The Position

The Sales Manager will work approximately 45-50 hours per week, overseeing a team of three membership sevices representatives, with a starting date as soon as possible. The position will be based at Krav Maga Worldwide’s HQ Training Center in Sherman Oaks, and will report to the Director of Sales.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years sales management/general management experience (health and fitness or self-defense/martial arts industry experience preferred).
  • Minimum 2-4 years sales experience (health and fitness or self-defense/martial arts industry experience preferred).
  • Proficient in prospecting, developing leads and client follow-up and able to train team to do the same.
  • Friendly, outgoing, enjoys interacting with people, extensive and active social network.
  • Driven self-starter, goal oriented.
  • Assertive and professionally persistent.
  • Coachable, personable and reliable team player, with ability to coach and motivate others.
  • Empathetic listener and problem-solver.
  • Positive, winning attitude.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Able to work some evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Enthusiastic about health, fitness, and exercise. Krav Maga experience and training a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Train and develop sales team to build, cultivate and enhance lasting relationships with prospective and current members, and advise members of appropriate training center services to help achieve personal safety and fitness goals.
  • Train team on how to lead proper tours and make presentations.
  • Prepare weekly sales meetings and perform agreed-upon sales strategies to help team to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Communicate and promote current marketing campaigns.
  • Drive sales team to generate leads/new business through member/student promotions and referrals.
  • Manage incoming leads (e.g., telephone inquiries, online contact form submissions, leads by email) and assign to membership services representatives.
  • Monitor sales team’s Daily Production Reports.
  • Review membership paperwork for accuracy and full completion prior to forwarding to accounts manager.
  • Generate leads and sign new members/students.
  • Handle potentially sensitive company and member information.
  • Assist in answering phones, handling third-party inquiries, and interacting with members/students.
  • Display and have knowledge in all of Krav Maga Worldwide’s services, and participate in two classes in the Center per week, one of which must be Krav Maga.

KMW STAFF ACCOUNTANT POSITION

The Company

KMW’s headquarters oversees its corporate-owned training centers, as well as licenses over 150 authorized KMW Official Training Centers™ across the world, and trains thousands of law enforcement and military personnel, together representing more than 800 government agencies and military forces throughout the United States.

The Position

Part-time staff accountant position will be approximately 20 hours per week with a starting date of August 15, 2016. Will work at the company’s headquarters, and report to the Senior Accountant and/or President.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), QuickBooks, and other standard office applications.
  • College degree or equivalent work experience (1-2 years Accounting, Finance, Business Economics, or related areas) preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Self-starter, creative problem solver, and team player willing to collaborate on various projects.
  • Due to the potentially sensitive and confidential data handled in this position, pre-employment background check required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements, daily journal entries, reports, and bank reconciliation.
  • Manage inventory and cash.
  • Handle purchase orders and payables.
  • Data entry and interpretation, data base maintenance, and spreadsheet creation.
  • General research and analysis of accounting and financial issues.
  • Support semi-monthly payroll reporting process.
  • Some travel to local, corporate-owned training centers to assist with inventory and/or payroll projects.
  • Assist other divisions within the company, as necessary.
