Fight For The Cure is our annual fundraiser which benefits The Marni Fund for cancer research.
On Saturday September 27th, Krav Maga Worldwide held an Active Shooter Neutralization Seminar taught by Krav Maga Worldwide Chief Instructor Darren Levine. Participants trained on defending against armed threats and attacks in the work place, business, and other public locations. Under Darren’s instruction, the participants quickly bonded as they worked various training scenarios and tactics, and put those tactics to use in several different environments. It was an intense and exciting day of real-world self-defense training.
On Sunday September 28th, Krav Maga Worldwide teamed up with Stop Cancer for the annual Stop Cancer 5/10k Run/Walk event. Krav Maga Worldwide members and staff showed their spirit with fun pink and red “fandanas,” and after Krav Maga Worldwide Fitness Instructors warmed up the crowd, everyone hit the course for a great run/walk event.
This year’s Fight For The Cure weekend was another great success. Krav Maga Worldwide helped Stop Cancer pass their goal of raising over $300,000.
