Hi all, Quite a few years ago I broke my radius (elbow) in a Mt bike crash. My arm was hyper extended and the radius cracked. At the time the doc said all he could do was put it in a splint and just let it heal.
While I have a little less range of motion in that arm it really hasn't bothered me until a couple weeks ago in class I was holding one of the tombstone pads while my partner was doing kicks and apparently I was holding it in the wrong position with the palm side of my hand facing outwards. One of his kicks caused my arm to twist outwards and it hurt like the dickens.
I noticed during my last class while doing strikes from a headlock position that I had pain going down my forearm and reduced strength when doing strikes.
Anyone had this problem? I was thinking of getting a brace for my elbow but wondered how that would effect my motion.
