hey everyone,
i am currently training in memphis, but i'll be coming up to knoxville this fall for school and i was wondering if there are any students from the university that train? Also, is there a bus or something that i could take to the place because i probably won't have my car for the first year at least?

thanks a bunch

I spent about a year training at East/West Karate working with first through third-year Krav students. The instructors were great, exercises were challenging and productive, high-intensity and fun!!! Public transit in Knoxville was not all that great, but I never used it as I commuted back and forth from outside of town. Not much in the level of University students at the time, but a diverse age group who all became good friends. IMHO, a great program. I'm dying to find anything similar in the Albq, NM area. I left 7 mos. ago and still miss it.

Hope this helps...

Hey Terry! Thank you so much, I'm really excited about starting at UT! And it would be fantastic if I could ride with you to krav because i was afraid i wouldn't be able to make it during my first semester. And to answer your question, i went to St. Agnes for high school

thanks so much!

Glad I can help, if you want to give me your UT email we can stay in touch that way if you like(and if you have it yet). Mine is ggant@utk.edu. Did you do orientation yet? How is your courseload? I don't remember if I know anyone from st agnes but the name sounds familiar. I'd like to mention I am no pro at krav (not that i just suck terrbly I just dont have any formal training, I have been learning out of a book :? ). In exchange for giving you a ride you have to help me get good at it. Sound like a deal?
