Thanks Sean!thumbsup

I did post this before folks but I saw my center's homepage got a wee bit crowded so it may have been hard to find the seminar info. Just recently got the flyer.

Hey MJ, do you know how many turned out for this year's Seminar? Seems to me like there weren't as many as last year? I got a hug and a "Thank You" from one of the ladies I was working with after they dismissed the group for the day--totally wasn't expecting that, I just showed up to help and had a blast!:):

Dunno but the place was full, so that's all that matters to methumbsup.

Our seminar kicked BUTT folks. It was great watching these ladies learn skills that could one day save their lives.

There was a video about 4 local high school teachers who are taking gun training at our center, but it hasn't been posted yet. I'll get the video link when I see it.

True dat! I noticed after class got started, more ladies were coming in, and yeah, the blue room was pretty tightly packed when we went in there for the choke against the wall drills. It was fun to watch Pete get in there too, and I think the ladies who had him attacking them were more stunned by him than the guys in the full S.W.A.T. gear! ;):

Maybe he thought the gals were getting intimidated with the attackers in the attack suit. They LOOK really big with all the padding. I have alot of respect for Pete - the man KNOWS his stuffthumbsup. He only had the helmet for protection. That was NUTS:OhMy:

But out there, anyone any size will attack you. You saw those last set of girls all went like TWICE? Yeah, that's the spirit!rofl2

Hell yeah, I'm SO with you on Pete! I was thinking that was nuts too, when he asked for a Helmet and then went for it. I think he just wanted to flush out the fight in some of those girls and that worked! When I was a student in that seminar, we all got to go through twice, which I thought was fun! So now my other half sees what I went through, that got me hooked enough to want to become a regular student. ;):

Not that there's any shortage of real-life stories to use for inspiration, but this happened less than two blocks from where I work, and I really wish I could send all the teenaged girls in the neighborhood to San Antonio now!

Good thing he's stupid. It'll be a long long time before he can try this again now.

Here's the video of the HS teachers getting their weapons training and a little bit of the seminar. It'll play a commercial first.
