Hello! I came across this forum as it seems to possess a overwhelming amount of information regarding Krav Maga as well as many experienced individuals to lend a helping hand. My interest in this art stems from a desire to enhance my unarmed combative skill. In comparison to various other combative systems, Krav has been extensively battle-tested, is versatile, and therefore reliable. Being Jewish also has something to do with my interest, and I take pride in the knowledge that the birth of this style took place by a brave fellow bringing the fight to the monsters who killed many of my family not so fortunate to find sanctuary in those terrible times. I am 6'1 and 200 pounds and in excellent physical condition, though I focus far more on strength training than cardiovascular fitness and I feel Krav will help me in this weak spot of mine. My only former martial arts training is studying of combatives, typical drunken brawls, fighting kids in school and plenty of Mortal Kombat
