Default New to Krav

Hey folks!

I'm in Lowell, MA. I am taking my first Krav class this coming Saturday. I'm very excited! It looks like a great deal of fun and also very useful! Any tips / advice people can give me would be great! I look forward to learning as much as possible!

Welcome Bruce!

Well, I can tell you it probably wouldn't hurt to take some water and a towel with you. Once you get hooked (and YOU WILL), a cup is A MUST to every class. Your center can probably tell you what you need but usually it'll be some form of hand protection like wraps and groin protection.

Here's a recent thread on groin protection

Here's one I started on wrapping your hands

Hope this helps

Welcome Bruce!

I would suggest listen and work as hard as you can and have fun at the same time. I've started week six on Monday. Be patient, practice, practice, practice. Your cardio and form will start to get better.
