Default Toronto Fight and Fitness.

Hi, I've been interested in trying Krav Maga and found this school in my area. I'm downtown Toronto and I'm wondering if this is a recognized and certified school or if I should keep looking.
I know virtually nothing about Krav so I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum!

There are several KM organizations. If you're looking for KMWW training centers, check here

Hope this helps and good luck on your training

Thanks for the reply, I'm not sure what to expect from the class but I hope to learn how to better protect myself.

Hi,

I do know the Instructors there personally. They are fantastic! The chief instructor Rob is a very good teacher and has a great teaching staff. You will learn alot there.

Thanks, hearing from someone who's been there makes it a lot easier. Have you been training there long?

Hi,

I actually run the Waterloo Krav Maga location and have been teaching Krav Maga for about 5yrs. Previous to that I have been involved in the martial arts for pushing 30yrs. I have known Rob to be a good person and a very good teacher. His students are very loyal to hime and to the school, so that tells you a bit about his teaching and love of KM. As I mentioned, you will enjoy the classes and learn some very effective self-defence. Enjoy...

Hi there - I just wanted to echo Aubrey's statements. I've had the chance to train with Rob and the other instructors from Toronto on multiple occasions. They are a great bunch and extremely good instructors. Good luck and enjoy!

Hey thanks, good to know. I appreciate the info. You never know who you're going to get and I think for something like this the instructor is as important as the technique.
