Default Do you train as an individual or as a member of a team?

I train in Glendora which is an incorporated city in Southern California. We are blessed there
with outstanding instructors and a wonderful group of fellow students. As my training has progressed I have begun to feel more and more like a member of a team with my fellow students. We all strive to support each other and when we \"partner up\" do our best to encourage each other to strike hard, fast, and precise. Do you train as an individual or as a member of a team? In the almost 6 months that I have been training there have been some students who started and dropped out after just a few sessions. But there is a core group that has stuck together (which I now consider myself a part of) and it's the give and take with them that has become as important as the give and take with our instructors.

With my class, it's more like a family than a team.........

Hi Pappy,

I train as an individual due to the fact that if I am ever attacked I will not have my team there with me. It will be me against \"her/him/them\"

But I do feel as if I am a part of the team, and I feel a certain level of ownership of the school, a definite pride of what I am a part of.

So I guess it's a little bit of both....An individual who is part of the team....Hmmmmm. Theres no \"I in team?\", I think now there is..
