While women are welcome to participate in our traditional 5-tiered self-defense classes and fighting classes, there is also a Krav Maga Women Only Program.

While women can effectively defend themselves in our general courses, our classes for women, self-defense classes especially, have been specifically designed around where and how women are attacked. This extra layer of focus lets female students learn defense tactics that aren’t as heavily covered in the general courses.

Mental Preparation

Centered around women, self-defense classes by Krav Maga aren’t just about building strength and learning a variation of blocks and attacks—it’s about mental preparation as well. Even if you learn the techniques you need to defend yourself against a potential attacker, you need to be able to work through the stress to keep safe. To help our students prepare for those situations, Krav Maga instructors move outside of the certified training center and into the real world.

Students receive hands-on training in locations like ATMs and parking lots that they may have to defend themselves in. By practicing real-world situations, instructors ensure that their students are fully prepared for a real attack. Instructors even wear protective padding so that the student can react with full-contact counterattacks.
