On May 12, 2015, Krav Maga Worldwide Force Training Division Instructor, James Morrison, a 16 year law enforcement veteran and a 19 year member of the Maryland Army National Guard, was involved in a serious motorcycle accident which has left him paralyzed from the chest down. Jim is a passionate and talented instructor who has dedicated his life to protecting our communities as a police officer, and shaping the lives of future police officers while teaching at the police academy. He and his wife, Kateri, a public school teacher, have three young children under theage of eight.
Jim will be undergoing a period of extensive rehabilitation, and he and his family will be facing a series of financial challenges for his care, transportation, and housing modifications.
