Depending on what kind of defense training and fitness workout you’re looking for in LA, Krav Maga Worldwide is guaranteed to have a program to fit you and your needs. Our classes are divided into various programs that cater to children, law enforcement professionals, and everyone in between.

Keep in mind that KMW is dedicated to providing specialized programs and training services for all types of students. Adult Programs in Self Defense

KM Level One—Five, Krav Maga Black Belts

Beginning LA Krav Maga students will start at KM level one and work their way up all five levels, earning yellow, orange, green, blue, brown, and ultimately a black belt in Krav Maga. At level one, students will learn Krav Maga’s fighting stance and movement, punches, kicks from both standing and ground positions, and other basic self defense and fighting maneuvers. At level five, students are expected to have increased their level significantly, entering an advanced curriculum that includes fighting, ground fighting, advanced self defense, all weapons defenses, and third party protection. Students that complete all five levels should move on to Krav Maga Black Belts, a special class designed for black belt masters of Krav Maga.

Law Enforcement Only (For Sworn Officers)

Under the law enforcement curriculum, this class will teach a variety of defenses against armed and unarmed attackers and will cover training in the use of force to keep the peace.

Women Only

Our Women Only program teaches female students important self-protection tactics while improving self-confidence and pride. Learn how to spot and avoid dangerous situations.

Fitness Program

KM Bag

An intensive workout, KM Bag is a combination of strength building, flexibility training, and extensive bag work. Members of this class will refine their Krav Maga techniques through repetition, drills, and punching bag combinations while increasing muscular strength and physical endurance. Boxing or bag gloves are required.

CrossFit

There are three components to our CrossFit program: CrossFit All Levels, CrossFit Level 2, and CrossFit Elements. Beginning CrossFit members should start at CrossFit All Levels, which is open to everyone. Members will become a part of our warm and welcoming CrossFit community before showing the discipline and stamina required for advancement to Level 2, for advanced CrossFit members.

CrossFit Elements is recommended for all CrossFit athletes, regardless of level. It’s a workshop style class that takes an in-depth look at modalities used in CrossFit training.

Fighting Program

Krav Maga Street Fighting

Street Fighting classes are split into three modules: Intro Fight, Fight, and Advanced Fight. Beginners should expect to start at Intro Fight and learn essential strikes, blocks, and movements used in Krav Maga in a non-threatening, friendly environment. Intro Fight is a ten-week course that should be completed from start to finish in order to build up to the next level. Fight and Advanced Fight continue street fighting instruction through high contact sparring practice and more complicated techniques.

Intro Ground Fighting

This special class is entirely focused on fighting from the ground. An incredibly important aspect to street fighting, Intro Ground Fighting class members will learn escapes from various holds and positions, as well as offensive moves such as joint locks and submissions

Krav Maga Sport Fighting

Sport Fighting classes are divided into four categories: Ground Fight, MMA, Boxing, and Kickboxing. Technique and conditioning are the focus for all courses, and members are trained under the same regimen and training methods as professional athletes.

Force Training Division

Krav Maga Worldwide has provided training for countless law enforcement agencies and military units stationed locally and around the world. The LA Krav Maga force training program is dedicated to providing extensive additional training for area law enforcement, and for military and security personnel at an advanced level. The course is designed for training large numbers of personnel at a time.

YOUTH PROGRAM

KM-X Youth Program

KM-X teaches kids easy-to-learn self defense tactics and basic fighting skills, while building confidence and strength. The program includes a regimen of fun games, obstacle courses, relays, and exercises in a happily active class that’s designed to teach kids in LA Krav Maga basics.
