Krav Maga Worldwide™ Licensees Honored By Their Communities!!

Krav Maga Worldwide™ licensee schools around the country, and the world, offer the best Krav Maga self-defense training and are truly dedicated to helping their students become safer and stronger. It's this sort of dedication to safety and wellness that leads to Krav Maga Worldwide™ training centers having an overall positive impact on their respective communities.  The owners and head instructors of two of our licensee schools were recently honored for this type of positive contribution to their respective communities and we couldn't be happier for, or prouder of them.

On April 16th, Krav Maga Worldwide™ licensee Vinay Chary, chief instructor and owner of Triumph Krav Maga in New Orleans, LA was honored by Chief of Police Arthur S. Lawson Jr and the Gretna, LA Police Department for his work in training police academy recruits.  Over the past couple of years Vinay has been working to bring Krav Maga training programs to several local law enforcement agencies. Vinay worked with 16 Gretna Police Academy recruits over several intense 8 hour training sessions. Gretna is the first local New Orleans area law enforcement agency to utilize Krav Maga in their academy recruit training and in the next couple of months Vinay and Triumph Krav Maga will be working with Gretna PD to train on-duty officers and to make Krav Maga the official training system for the Gretna PD. Amazing!

On April 7th, Krav Maga Worldwide™ licensees Mike and Anne Marie Mihalkanin, the head instructors and owners of MMA Academy in San Diego, CA, were recognized and honored by the San Diego County Board of Supervisors who proclaimed that April 7th, 2015 is officially "MMA Academy Day". This distinction and award was based on MMA Academy's 25 years of Krav Maga instruction in the San Diego community. The Board of Supervisors made a point of recognizing the great programs that MMA Academy has brought to the community like; empowerment seminars at the Annual Women's Resource Fair, free defensive-tactics seminars to law enforcement agencies, and an amazing adaptive Krav Maga program for returning veterans from Balboa Naval Hospital. Awesome!

These are really great distinctions for amazing Krav Maga instructors bring a positive influence to the community. They are truly improving and saving lives through their dedication to Krav Maga and Krav Maga Worldwide™
