Here is my main concern. i really like the level 1 moves the groin kick, palm strikes, 7 elbows, knees and choke defense to name just a few. I have spent much time being in the most proficient in my level 1 class.
I am worried the next level I may forget all I have learned due to the next level being a brand new curriculm.
Obviously they dont cover all the level 1 moves in level2/3.

If you are not doing those level 1 moves you mentioned in level 2-3 then you are not doing Krav Maga.

Not to worry, you’ll see each of those quite frequently. As long as you keep practicing Krav you’ll keep practicing those basics.

I want a solid 100-120 hours in level 1 !!!!!
Seems a lot but that is my goal.Right now I am at 50 hours in level 1 so I am half way there.
Yes I keep track lol.
Our level 1 program has about 20 percent of the level 2 moves in it.

You will still see level one moves in level 2 and even 3 classes. I’d say 50 % of the classes end up doing a drill that will use level one chokes with the level 2 or 3 moves at the end of the class. I was worried about that too since the first time i did level 1 chokes after doing the test was a couple months later in a drill where you were in the middle of 7 guys, 5 with banana bags and 2 with tombstones bags and while you were kicking the guys with banana bags as they were charging you then you would turn to a tombstone and start punching it non stop untill one of the other 2 guys put a leel one choke on you. You would be shocked how muscle memory works and how your technique will just work its self.

I started level 2-3 program last month. This is a merge program.
Fun to learn some ground stuff too.
