Just thought i’d post to celebrate…I just took my ASVAB and scored in the 93rd Percentile.:woohoo: I’m soon to be joining all of you in this section of the forum. Once again thanks for letting me boast a little bit

Just got back from my medical today…passed everything. I’m going into the army. My MOS is going to be 68w (medical care specialist) aka field medic. Where in K.C. did you live?

I grew up in Kansas City, Kansas and graduated from Washington High School many moons ago. Glad to hear everything went well at the MEPS station. Just make sure you get everything you wanted up front. When do you ship? 68W is a good MOS. Just make sure you go to school when while you are in. Are you going to try and go Airborne, Ranger or SF? All of which are worth it if you are in to that and willing to tough it through training! You will love Fort Sam for your MOS training! Where are you going to Basic at?

I’m going to get airborne in my contract…I’ll be going to basic @ ft. Benning. I won’t ship until july b/c of previous commitments.

Late congrats.My friend is a Ranger.He is always trying to get me to try out.I want to so bad but i have a wife and son.i wish i had thought about things like this when i was younger not that im old only 28.I am currently awaiting for local police to open back up for recruiting in late fall.Goin for SWAT and dive team once im in and get the opportunity.Hopefully soon i can join you guys in this chat room.
GL on airborne school my friend said it is hard but fun as heck.Ive always wanted to jump outta a plain.Also did you ever think of goin to Ranger school also?I heard they need some more good medics.
