I’ve been on this board a pretty long time, and I’ve read a lot of references about “cavaliers” as weapon disarms, but I have never seen a description. What exactly is this technique?

The KM book has them described pretty well under Blue Belt, starting on page 263. I still have problems with that. I know part is more practice but I think another is my small hands.:D:

It’s just a wrist lock. Push an attacker’s hand or fist toward his inside wrist to create leverage to take him to the ground or strip a knife or other object if he is holding one.

    Wrist lock / weapon release.
