I am looking to train with krav maga here in Columbus. I know Ohio Krav Maga but I think it was extremely expensive (90 or so bucks a month) which is just too expensive for me. I was hoping they did something like this on base but they do not. I am the only working parent with a 3 year old and another on the way so a huge monthly cost certainly is not something I can afford right now.

Welcome to the forum,
I only saw 3 Ohio centers here.
I’ve read on this forum where other centers charge higher. Cost varies by location, classes offered, etc. Here’s one older post Hope this helps.:wav:

Yeah, none of those are close to me at all.

Another option is to check if any of these centers have any seminars throughout the year that you could attend. Even if it was only a few times a year, it would be better than not training at all.
There are the Krav books which are very good but I will tell you they don’t replace learning in a real class with a real instructor. You need to have the tweaking an instructor will give you that no book will. Also, if you don’t have a training partner, then your options are limited
