So what is the difference between the KM that is taught on Civvy street vs what LEO / Millitary is taught?

On the L.E. side, trainees are taught the same techniques as civilians plus techniques that specifically address scenarios unique to law enforcement, such as weapon retention, arrest & control, etc.
