Watching that fight reminded me of Karate Kid II when everyone was twirling those little paddle ball drum things.

Hisardut is a mix of Kyokushin, Judo with a little Krav Maga.

I trained in Hisardut for close to three years and Kyokushin, Judo, and some minimal KravMaga is a a perfect description of at least the Western version of Hisardut.

Wasn’t kyokoshin (SP?) Dennis Hanover’s are of choice when still in Africa?

the art he practiced in South Africa was Judo. He picked up kyokushin when he was in Israel.
Several KM guys were Hisardut fighters also..such as Boaz Aviram and Amir Perets
