Krav Maga words

Hi all…

Quick, silly question… We all know krav maga means contact combat in Hebrew.

But, which word is which?

Ie- Is krav combat or contact?

My understanding is that it’s
(קרב) krav – contact, touch, feel
(מגע) maga – battle, combat, fight, war

note that the Hebrew alphabet reads right to left. http://www.jewfaq.org/alephbet.htm

You’re right, it looks like I accidentally pasted the definitions next to the wrong words, I was having trouble getting the right to left vs left to right stuff on a single line :banghead:
