I thought about grabbing the other copy for GK and driving it over the hill. But the payroll company for the show I’m on is way behind, so I’m waiting on checks. I got a check Friday from June 16th 🙄 I think I’m waiting on like 6-7 checks at the moment.
I’m willing to drive a copy out to Mara Jade, if your willing to loan me that GT from the cover of Luxury Exotics 😈 Oh yeah and pay for tickets and gas

I’m computer illitterate. Does anyone know why I’m recieving notification on responses including a link, but the link can’t be accessed. It just shows up as black typing. This has been for the last few days? This board only
Huh? Has never happened to me. Did you copy the link and then try to access it? If you go to your profile, you can change your preferences, maybe turn of notifications (just click on \”profile\” above, then it will come up and you can click to change, then click update). See if that works. Maybe Sean can give you a ride in one of his exotic cars, then you can both come over and give me a book… 😀

GiantkillerOh y’all two 😆 . Y’all silly 🙂 . Honestly, it just depends..Sometimes it’ll have the some offer for weeks, sometimes just a few days. The biggest discount I’ve ever seen is 30% off one item.
I don’t go there as much as I used to. I love browsing Half Price Books but I KNOW the KM book won’t be there 🙂 . I only hit borders for the geek magazines and sometimes bargain books once in a while 🙂

Did by chance you clean up your internet cache and cookies? Doing that would’ve removed any login information. 🙂
The Borders stores here all seem to have it now. Might have been better for you to get it there, since you are still waiting for the shipment.
Cookies, don’t know, they taste well, maybe unstpabl ate them and that’s causing the problems?

I began Krav Maga in 1999 with the IKMF and I am an instructor since the year 2001.
I don’t work any more with IKMF.I did not know the work of John and Darren. I wanted to discover it. This is why I bought this book. And I am happy to have it.
Sincerely, I think the book is very good. You can buy it without hesitation.
Got the book last week, but unfortunately I’ve not had the time to look at it in a seriously in-depth sorta way. Mainly I’ve been going over the stuff I learned for Yellow Belt (just passed) and checking out all the fun stuff I’m about to learn for Orange Belt (first class on Tuesday!)
From what I’ve seen it looks great. I was impressed that the getting-up-from-the-ground parts were very well explained and illustrated. That was the most difficult part of L1 (at least for me) and it makes perfect sense in the book.
Only one thing I noticed though: Rotating the fist 45 degrees when punching? I was taught to keep the knuckles on a 90 degree angle relative to the floor. Got to ask about that one tonight.
Great book! I purchased two; one for home and another one so that I can review it at work. While skimming the book, I did not see the defense for a bearhug from the rear with no space and your arms pinned below your elbows.
Here’s a funny thing.
I bought mine on 7/21.
I didn’t even look at it. I waited at Border’s with my children so they could buy the new Harry Potter book. I proceeded to read the first few levels while I waited 2+ hours. I lent my book to our instrucotr so he could take a look at it.For me the book is a gauging tool. We don’t test for levels here and it just let’s me know where I fall among the masses.
I’m really enjoying the book and use it’s margins for notes as well.
