I wouldn’t want to get poked in the eye with one of those.

Preventing our-self from un expected attack is a best self defense. If you hurt or attacked by other you just raise your hand against opponent. dont be calm. Presence of mind is best self defense. Though your learned self defense and self protecting that could have come to useless when your mind is not working in such a situations.

I personally think Kubotans are the best self-defense weapon there is, I own 5 and have a few on me at all times. Though the size there are a bit large, unless you have big hands.

Self defense weapons are only as effective as the person using them. So, it is important for you to be able to choose the most ideal one for you. But with the huge range of weaponry that you can purchase over local stores and online shops, it is really hard to select the one will surely cater to your preferences…

This is my everyday carry improvised weapon. I considered the smith and Wesson and Uzi tactical pens, but decided they looked too much like weapons pretending to be a pen. This aluminum alloy pen can be easily “weaponized”, writes well, looks good and makes a great improvised weapon. It’s not going to be immediately considered a weapon by a lay person or even by a security guard while entering a building like Empire State Building here in NYC or even boarding a plane. My suspicion tells me you would have a more difficult time with one of the other tactical pens. If I lose it or decide to change it I might get this one http://www.zebrapen.com/products/pen/f-701?c=30January 17, 2014 at 5:21 am #88163aliciarohailBlockedRe: Self defense tools

Physical self-defense is the use of physical force to counter an immediate threat of violence. Such force can be either armed or unarmed. In either case, the chances of success depend on a large number of parameters, related to the severity of the threat on one hand, but also on the mental and physical preparedness of the defender.
