    None of the agencies I worked for had a SOP for suspicious items… I am not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. When responding to one, I just verified it was there and cleared the area then notified the supervisor and he did the call-out.

    The related article is out from PoliceOne.com right now. I would post a link, but its for verified LEO’s only (sorry guys but I can’t share it). It’s worth a read.

    I had never really thought about a policy for it, however in light of the bank bomb here in Oregon I am begining to wonder… What is your experiance with this issue?

    Oh yes, I remember that. I think it was in India but I am not sure. Very sad…
