Some of you might think that taking self-defense classes for women seems like “a nice thing to do if I could just find the time.” But time is not something you find. It’s something you make, especially for something as important as learning to defend yourself. Think about it. You will spend far more time recovering from a dangerous situation than you would ever have spent attending weekly self-defense classes for women.

Krav Maga for Girls

Empower Your Kids to Be Safer

Learning self-defense encourages the younger women in your life as well. Our Krav Maga km-X youth classes provide the power to build confidence and self-esteem in growing, sometimes awkward teenagers and the younger set. Both kids and adults need to know that they don’t need to choose between being nice and being tough. They can be both at the same time.

Krav Maga not only teaches kids to protect themselves, but it also promotes fitness and discipline. It’s a fun, dynamic program that stresses function over form and brings kids to a higher level of proficiency a lot quicker than traditional martial arts do. And by making Krav Maga a part of their routine at a young age, it will be more likely that they will continue on into the self defense classes for women and men when they grow older. We have regular weekly classes that kids can attend as well as summer camps.

Fitness that’s Fun

Every week, there’s a story in the news about how kids aren’t getting enough exercise. They are sitting in a chair staring at a screen for entertainment while psychologists and parents argue over exactly how much screen time is healthy for a child to have.

But there’s a way to ensure that they will get more exercise, and that’s to introduce them to Krav Maga self defense classes for women and children. The Los Angeles Times calls it “fitness that’s fun,” and Cosmopolitan says it’s “a seriously-sweaty, adrenaline-packed full-body workout.” Some students get so excited about classes that they sign up for three or four back-to-back sessions in the same evening, which makes it convenient for transportation.

It’s Time to Make the Time

Krav Maga Worldwide schedules self defense classes for women and kids at various times of the day and week so students can fit them into their chaotic schedules for school, work, family and other activities. We offer three half-hour classes between 4 and 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and two classes on Fridays, while six classes are available from 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
