Re: This is why KM is important!

I finally watched the clip

    Those two cowards :soapbox:

I feel glad to be involved in Krav Maga :(: but poor dude.

This is why I think basic self defense classes should be added to physical education classes around the world.

Hope these guys get what they deserve

    Re: Reaction speed

    quote bulb98930:

    Don, I’m a newbie level 2, in general I’m am just S-L-O-W.

My reaction time is just 2 seconds too slow. A non-krav friend was standing right in front of me the other day at my house messing with me. He did a front kick (which I saw coming) and after he fully extended his leg I blocked. It feels like my eyes are faster than my appendages.

WOW, How do you deal with the 360 defense positions?

Re: Skin Eating Fungus Killing Judo in Japan

    quote La Revancha:

HOLY COW! Half a million judoka?!

Why does it always have to point back to the Latin Americans? >:(

I don’t think they said it in a harmful way, but anyways I believe the only responsible for this are the judoka themselves. I have always believe that Hygiene is a MUST, for Martial artists and any sport in general. Lack of Hygiene is a disrespect to our fellow practitioners. Hope they find a solution for this problem soon.

    Re: Deadliest Warrior

I’d like to see something about ancient egyptian warriors, I don’t know much about them

Oh, and how about Atila Vs. Alexander, I’d like that :):

    Re: Deadliest Warrior

Wow, They are taking actual history characters into the battlefield! 😀 I like that.

I would love to see Miyamoto Musashi VS Acolmiztli Yoyotzin Nezahualcoyotl

The first one, probably the greatest swordsman and samurai who ever lived, never deafeated (In a duel)

The second one, Texcoco’s greatest King, Conqueror of many provinces in ancient MÈxico, never defeated or even wounded. (I’ll bet on him, sorry musashi, national pride above everything xD)

    :box2:

Unfortunately that would never happen….even on a TV show…. :(:

    Re: Tips for increasing flexibility?

I don’t know If my experience may be able help you but here It is:

Last summer I started practicing Capoeira and It was awesome. Unfortunately due to my school’s schedule I had to leave It :(: . Shortly after that I started practicing Krav Maga and I was amazed by the flexibility that capoeira had give me, seriously, for a guy of my size and weight I think It really helped me out.

Although I still respect Capoeira and all It’s practitioners, I’ll think I’ll stick to Krav Maga :D, but the help it gave me with my flexibility is undeniable, I still practice a little when I have the time.
