We train as hard, if not harder. For instance last week, we used our MMA gloves (as opposed to our 16’s boxing gloves… in addition to the rest of our fight gear) and worked standup, clinch/takedown and ground all in one… it was great. It was a level 3/4 class.

The only thing I have on my fellow students is that I can hit with my 16’s… but they still kick the shit out of me.

I use my 16’s for everything, i don’t even use my 10’s for anything… i’m also hesitant on using my MMA gloves unless they make me (they made us use them last night fighting… a la UFC – we were all dead afterward)….

Our center has a 10 minute rule… You need to warm up and stretch so you don’t get hurt….

I took my level II test a couple of weekends ago… we are still waiting for our results..

This test was more fun than the level I test… I thought I was going to pass out on that one…

I watched it… I loved it because Boxing is my love, but the footage on the fights were lame. They didn’t show the entire fight and kept showing footage of the audience… at least on TUF, you get the entire fight.
