Re: Pushing or snapping punches in Krav?
A “Snap Punch” is not a jab. If done right the hit is just as hard as a “Push Punch” but the opponent does not fly away allowing you to continue attacking them.
An example is if you stack multiple bricks spaced by 1/4″wood spacers you use a “Push punch” to break the bricks on the bottom. If you hang a 1″ pine board on the corners with string, using a “Snap punch” breaks the board into two and the board swings sideways, not backwards.
Trust me a “Snap punch” to the head can knock someone out or double them over with a punch to the solar plexus.

Men and women partner all the time at KMW in West LA. As for ground fighting the same applies. There are usually no issues or at least I have not heard of one. In fact many women prefer to partner with men because that is what would happen in the real world

Try http://www.otomix.com MMA Stingray boots.
Midsole for ankle support. Thin sole that allows twisting of foot during kicks and the shoe is very light

I have used this bag from northface. The large size fits all my gear and has arm straps to carry like a backpack

So I have been studying Krav for several years but prior to that I have been introduced to Wing Chun. My fighting style incorporates many of the Wing Chun principles. Some of the principles of Wing Chun are actually buried in the techniques taught at Krav.
