I trained in NYC for 8 months and recently started law school in DC. Is there a training location in the district?
I heard of a program at the DC Jewish Community Center, but don’t have any other info.

Hey Johnnie, I’m Don Bruns. I’m one of the instructors at Krav Maga DC. We do indeed have classes at the JCC at 16th and Q Streets NW in Washington, DC as well as one other location.
We’re actually starting new classes in early December. Please check out our website at http://kravmagadc.com/
Hope to see you in class!

December 2, 2004 at 4:06 am #35005kgMemberGood evening.
I’ve been considering some sort of martial art and’or fitness class for the last couple of years. Until recetly I had never heard of KM. My question is, will this class lead to me being in an over all better physical shape?
May I come by the DC location to observe the classes?
December 2, 2004 at 11:57 am #35011donbrunsMemberYes, you’re absolutely welcome to observe any of our classes.
But if you’re going to observe, why not participate? For the next couple of weeks, Krav Maga DC is offering Intro to Krav classes, starting tonight. It’s a two class deal for a really good rate. This allows you to try out Krav Maga and see if it’s right for you.
As for getting into better shape, yeah, I think it’s safe to say that will probably happen. I myself lost 25 pounds within 6 months of starting Krav Maga.
Check out our website at http://www.kravmagadc.com/ for details on our introductory classes. Or feel free to write to me at don(at)kravmagadc.com.
Thanks!
Don Bruns

December 14, 2004 at 5:08 pm #35282ryanMemberNighthawk, KG, JohnnieHancock, and anyone else in the area, check out the classes at KMDC if you get the chance. We have worked with their instructors and students on several occasions, and they are a very dedicated, talented, and good group of people.
