So, I didn’t want to give this away in the title of the thread….but for any fight fan that might have been a kid in the early 80’s, THIS is STUNNING casting:
You read that right. Quinton “Rampage” Jackson will be playing the role of BA Baracus. A role immortalized by Mr. T. Yes, THAT Mr. T.
The film currently is slated to star Liam Neeson as Hannibal (played by George Peppard in the series). No word on Face or “Howlin Mad” Murdock. It may very well suck donkey balls, but I’ve GOTTA see what their new ride will look like.
“I love it when a plan comes together!”

They’re remaking it into a movie? Who knew? So the guy would rather than act than get in the cage..interesting

So every idea for a movie has been taken or done? No wonder movie ticket sales are way down. Can’t wait for hogans heroes and golden girls the movie.

Gotta wonder why they keep making Saw movies though? Think IMDB.com said there’s a Saw VI?

There’s a lot of rumors flying around about whether Rampage is or isn’t playing Baracus. He hasn’t released anything official, and I’m a little lenient about believing Yahoo after they reported Fedor E. had signed with the UFC, it’s a bit hard to tell whether the information they have is correct or not.

I mean we get it already. They cheat death and death comes to find them in some gruesome bizarre way. And if that story line was not enough, you can now watch them bite the dust in 3D.

Late August had the story shot down and some rapper had the role. This week, a European source and Yahoo both have Rampage with the role. I think it’s got some legs, until/unless I see recent counter-stories in the news. 🙂

Hey, wrestlers, football players, traditional martial artists have done it. Why not mixed martial artists. I just read in the Orlando Sentinal today that female MMA fighter Gina Carano will be star in a new Steven Soderbergh film called “Knockout”. The paper also said she was “Crush” on American Gladiators.
