Will we ever get the KM video section back? The one with individual links to various KMWW approved videos? That was pretty cool.

I thought that was a dream. One day it was there, the next “poof” it’s gone. :dunno:

Let’s fight for its resurrection. Was a good idea. 🙂

I’m gonna argue to not have it just to be difficult.

GiantkillerJust as a point of clarification they were not official KMWW sanctioned videos just stuff shot by students during class. They are all up on youtube still.

But it’s hard to find them there, especially for low speed folks. That was a great section to have. Posting them here wouldn’t take away from the KM videos or DVDs, which are much more professionally shot. They would just be a good reference tool.

Whose call is it and how can we smooth talk him into allowing it? 🙂

Hi Everyone,
There should be a single place for you to go and view Krav Maga Worldwide approved video’s on YouTube or MySpace at some point and it should be easy to find. The problem was that many of them were not KMW approved, and some of them contained content that is proprietary to LE training, and we can’t have that released in the public domain so readily.

mods can take out any unapproved videos… i vote for a vid section 🙂

Wouldn’t it be easier to control if it were here?
If people are going to look at youtube or myspace anyways, so be it, but wouldn’t it be “safer” for people who visit this site to see the videos approved by the “powers that be”.
I refer people to here for questions and answers and I just think that if this is the first place they look for KM info if we can give them videos that are correct and “approved” than that would be safer for the newer people to KM.
Some of these idiots that post to youtube are dangerous. The KM NTC myspace page has videos, but most people don’t trust myspace either. Anyone could open a myspace.
Just a little opinionative this morning. :woohoo:

There is a distinction between the types of videos.
A professionally done promotional video done by KMWW Corporate
A professionally done promotional video representing an individual licensee such as the one Huston did.
A video shot by a student during a class or seminar with consent of the instructor and with the intent to put it on youtube/myspace etc. Even though those videos were all of senior instructors Darren, Dave Bluestein, Jarrett Waldman and the content reviewed by Jon Pascal director of Force Training they are not officially sanctioned by KMWW Corporate. As such they can not be posted here in the forums directly by a KMWW representative. IE me.

But aren’t those guys all KMWW corporate? So, they don’t want to post their own videos? Confusing….
