I just got back from my follow up physical and just had to share what training in Krav has done for me:
I’ve lost 15 lbs.
I’ve lost 2 inches off my waist.
My blood pressure is back down to normal levels.
My Cholesterol went from 230 to 190
My LDL “Bad” Cholesterol went from 171 to 133
(I was a heart attack waiting to happen at age 35!)My lower back problems have almost gone away completely. When it does bother me it’s far milder than before.
And I can actually make it through a class without almost puking or passing out!
I knew I was out of shape when I started, but looking back now, I really had no idea how bad it was! I never would have acheived this on my own. Man am I thankful I found Krav!!!

Impressive stuff! Add in the things that can’t be easily quantified – increased confidence, better all-around attitude, more energy – that’s a tremendous improvement! Keep up the great work!

Yep, I’ll be there for the level one test (less than 3 weeks away!). I’ve been going to the fitness circuit classes (whoa have I got a looooong way to go!!!) in addition to my regular level one classes and a kickboxing class on Saturday to try to get my endurance up.
So far everything I’ve ever read or heard about the test makes it sound like it’s quite the experience. Although I’m anxious, I’m also really looking forward to it. I want to be able to make it through. It will be a huge accomplishment for me and one that I will be proud of!
Thanks everyone for the kind words and encouragement! I love this stuff!!!
