My best bet, if trying to get along with a gang is not possible, you’ll have to move out to a gun friendly state such as VA. You might have to be careful about northern VA as some of it may fall under Wash. DC jurisdiction. Even carrying any gun in DC is illegal unless you are a cop or govt. agent. Even handguns are illegal to possess unless they are completely disassembled. You can only possess long guns such as rifles or shotguns. Automatic weapons may be illegal too as I’m not quite sure on that. To also keep a long gun in you home at DC, you will also have to store them unloaded with the ammunition separate. Sorry to say this, but DC gun laws are messed up. Hopefully this is a wakeup call for those who live or consider taking up residence in our nations capital.
