In Friday night’s fight class I took a beating at the hands of a new classmate who was obviously much quicker than he looked. I left class with a bit of a headache but I had a lot of fun.

It’s now 24 hours later. I haven’t slept for almost 36 hours other than short naps), my back is tweaked, and my head is still killing me.

No, this has nothing to do with Krav… Immediately after my Krav class I went home to find Mrs. Hippie in the beginnings of labor.

My son (my 1st born) was born this morning at 9:30 Pacific Time.

Congratulate me… It was a good day.

Mazl tov! (as us Jews say ;o) Congrats and good luck. 2 months ago we got the 2nd boy – that’s when you leaqrn to value sleep.

Now your training is even more important – one more to protect.

He was a week early so she had no idea but she did show restraint and wait until she was sure (long after I got home) rather than call me in the middle of class and say “I think I might be in labor.”

On the bright side… This means I should be able to take my level 1 test next week!
