A friend of mine at work slapped a novel, titled Dating is Murder, down on my desk at work and said, \”You gotta read this, they’re using Krav Maga.\” I read it, a humorous, light read mystery novel by Harley Jane Kozak, and was surprisingly entertained. The heroine is taken to an introductory Krav Maga class by friends so she can learn to protect herself. Comments and references to KM follow thoughout the rest of the book and in the end the heroine is encouraged to save her own life, not by using KM teqniques, but by remembering the words of her instructor, \”…If you’re not dead, you’re not done.\” The humorous way KM was woven into the plot was well done and techniquely accurate.
Has anyone else read the book? Opinions?
I will have to read that book…
Book sounds entertaining. I’ll have to give it a try. Thanks for posting it.
Krav is also mentioned in Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell… Which I found to be pretty funny.
