I am sure they both work lol. I saw 2 different types of eye pokes.
1) I saw this Krav maga video on Y-tube by the Dragon. You keep your fingers fully extended and they are spread apart. Keep your fingers tense and tight.
2) Your hand forms a C with the fingers and thumb all touching together.
Have you learned both in class and which one do you like best.
The eye gouge is too gross for me I must admit lol
Re: Eye strikes- which is best
the only one i have heard of is the first one which i think would work the best at a center here in ga the practice on grapefuit
Re: Eye strikes- which is best
Actually the second one your hand is cupped and fingers and thumb together. Fingers are straight.
Hand is relaxed
Both would work fine I am sure.
Re: Eye strikes- which is best
Keep your fingers apart and strike at an angle, this way you have a greater probability of making contact with his eyes.Make sure your fingers are hard and strong while striking.
