Hey folks. I just finished my second week training in Broomfield, Colorado. I haven’t trained any sort of martial art for around seven years, but I spent a number of years studying karate as well as fencing (epee and broadsword) in the past.
KM is a welcome change from the more formalized systems I’ve studied in the past. My biggest problem so far (apart from getting back in shape) is overcoming the reflexes that five years of karate had ingrained into me. I’ve been working hard to “empty my cup” as it were.
Anyway, if you’re in Broomfield on Tuesdays or Thursdays feel free to say “hi”. I’m the shorter guy with a shaved head getting his butt kicked around the room 🙂
