Head Gear?

What full head gear do you recommend for sparring or have tried?

Currently looking at these 2:

The Cobra looks more comfortable, but I’ve never bought that brand before, not sure quality/fit.

Currently wearing Revgear. This will likely be my next one:

Seen this brand at NTC on a couple of people. Feels very light and breaths well.

Yeah, looks good and has cool max should be great for sweat control.

Should have waited for reply but wanted it before Sat, i ordered the Everlst

I REALLY like the headgear and the price and customer service were really good.

Also…

My buddy got his shin guards and gloves from them.

At our gym we don’t train with headgear. Is training with headgear mandatory in the US?

We use it sparring day which is once a week.

No but give it time and I’m sure somebody will try to pass a law… Before you know it we’ll be required to wear a motorcycle helmet when crossing the street.

If its not too late DONT BUY THAT EVERLAST ONE. Thats the one I have, its super uncomfertable to stand in let alone fight in, and it makes breathing a bitch to. The cobra one looks better, also Revgear earned my trust lately, I think i might buy their headgear.

Crapp.. well i’ll see how it goes with the Everlast, I have 30 days… It feels tight in the face area.

Yeah who knows, it might be better for you than for me, I hated it though, if I put it on durring sparring I always ended up taking it off within the first 5 min and going without hg
