Hello, my name is Marcus Kowal and I am the General Manager of the Krav Maga National Training Center in Los Angeles.
Quick introduction: I’m originally from Sweden but lived in England for many years. I’ve also lived in Germany, France and Mexico and been fortunate enough to be able to train with some of the top fighters in the world.
I’ve had the honour and pleasure of training with most of the previously mentioned top ranked instructors. I love what I do and have until today – not once – woken up and not enjoyed going to work. I love what we do and I love what we stand for: the honesty, the team spirit, the hard work. Am I bias? Of course – I work here! But there’s also a reason why I work here and not somewhere else…
I’m available for any further questions at [email protected].
Sincerely,
Marcus

Everyone gets to go, guys, girls, young, old… And if there’s no icy pond, you could roll around naked in the snow instead. OhMy Yes, I’ve actually done that! thumbsup beer

Yes, the Sauna thing is something everyone should try at some point in their life – it’s character building…

Marcus is a fantastic fighter and Krav Maga instructor (and pretty damn tough after a Taser.) It would be great to have his input here.
All the best!

As for sauna, try to use water mixed with slivovitz (plum liquour) to pour on the sauna rocks sometimes. Talk about character building! beer thumbsup
