Props to Mayor Barrett for stopping and attempting to do the right thing. I must wonder, however, if this event will make him re-think his position on the rights of citizens to keep and bear arms. There’s nothing like a punk armed with a pipe to make you say, “Gee, I’m sure glad that I carry this nifty Glock 26 in my right pants pocket…”
An arrest has been made in this case, btw.

Fair play to him though, not many people would have tried to intervene particularly when the aggressor is holding a pipe. Very impressive.

I have a Class 3 pipe license. I am allowed to carry pipes less than 18 inches. But they must be padded.
