It was pretty fun with the shoulder touching drill and all that. Thing that seems weird to me is they didn’t teach footwork or stances for any of the punches.
They just said punch the bag and everyone was punching how they wanted to. Is this somthing to be worried about?
They’re also charging $120 a month, could this mean their more concerned with profits than they are with teaching Krav Maga?

It’s a little hard to tell with that description to be honest. Was it a level 1 class or an intro class? Your fight stance IS your punching stance, so perhaps they just did not clarify. Take the full month, ask questions, see what it’s all about. If they are a true KMW licensed location, then check the “locations” page to ensure their status. As for the rate, sounds fine. How much would you pay for an hour long golf or tennis class, 3 times a week or more? Probably considerably more than that… But you have to decide if there is value in it for you.

Well, it’s your first class so give it time, the price is higher than what I pay but idk what the avg. is. Whats the name of the school? I’m sure theres a person or two on here that at least knows of it

It’s called premier martial arts, they have a bunch of locations across the US

stance was the very first thing we did and it’s always covered in the basics class. sounds like you took a level 1 class.

some Premier martial arts schools are KM Worldwide affiliates but many are not but they still claim to teach Krav Maga as part of their Premier Martial Arts training package. One of their instructor trainers is a KM blackbelt and ex-KMWW affiliate amd he teaches them some Krav Maga techniques and then they claim they teach Krav Maga.

The instructors at this school have no background in Krav Maga except for the few techniques that are included in their Premier Martial Arts instructor training…..yet they have no problem advertising that they teach Krav Maga.
Very lame.
