I volunteer somewhat regularly at marathons handing out water and such, and there are often Marines there as well. So, I’m regularly indoctrinated with the same motivational phrases shouted hundreds of times:

I’ve heard them so many times, I kind of hate them.Some of my favorites:

He went to Vietnam during that time. I’ll have to ask him if he remembers that. 😀
