    Re: Knife

Sheesh, that’s about the lamest law I’ve ever seen. The way I read that, it’s illegal to own a metal or wood baton. But if you happen to own a metal or wood little kid’s baseball bat, well that’s just ducky. Pfffffttt….

    quote Don:

The 6K and 7K look like they have frame locks – not my favorite but I think they’re significantly better than liner locks. I’m not familiar with the steel they’re using but IMO it’s a pretty nice looking knife – and it’s only $30 on Amazon (you could get Four of those for One of the Fox karambit)! http://www.amazon.com/Kershaw-6034T-Emerson-Designed-CQC-7K/dp/B00I0RQ0AO

The blade shape of the 6K is more my style:

I’ve got an Emerson/Kershaw auto commander http://www.bladeops.com/Emerson-Auto-Commander-Automatic-Knife-Black-Han-p/emeautocom.htm that feels real nice in my hand and the 6K and 7K handles look very similar so I’m betting they will feel pretty good too (for me at least)…

Fwiw, 6K and 7K made in China – if that makes a difference to you…

I ended up getting a cheap Karambit, and a Kershaw Emerson CQC 8K, I like the CQC 8K’s feel in my hand better, although they both fit very well.

Ditto here too! I feel you IDBL! Now your knife is officially broken in! ;):

Here’s one of my more recent dumbass moments (if/when you’re playing with a live karambit, it’s not a good idea to be spinning/flipping it while leaned back in your office chair, with your karambit hand forearm resting on the arm of the chair, watching a movie on your computer and talking on the phone)…

This was after it had healed a little; the karambit was a cheapy chinese made ebay special (but hella sharp); the tip went into my arm about a tad bit more in depth as how much of it is sticking past the laceration in the picture, I’m just glad it didn’t hit/sever anything important…
