i was at the gym working out last week, and i finished off by sitting in the steam room. they have little rubber mats for traction so you don’t bust open your skull on the hard tile floor. well, i stepped on the mat and the mat flew out from under me, sending me up horizontally up in the air, perfectly parallel to the ground. i somehopw managed to pull of a rear hard fall break as taught and practiced in krav maga. i emerged injury-free, and told the girl at the front counter to see about getting better mats.
