Hey all,
Unfortunately I can only take Krav Maga twice on every other weekend and that won’t change in the foreseeable future. So I was wondering if taking Kenpo and Wrestling during the weekdays would be a good supplement to my Krav training and help me stay in fighting shape.
Thanks for any replies!

Any Jeet Kune Do places nearby?
What kind of Kenpo? Ed Parker?

I suggest MMA or any of its components or Jeet Kune Do.
Boxing, Muay Thai, BJJ, Wrestling

Thanks KM.
I found a place in my area that seems to offer Kickboxing, BJJ, and Boxing, and the schedule is also perfect because I have Wrestling on Mondays and Wednesdays. Can anyone tell if this place is legit? http://sidekicksma.net/classes/mma-classes/
A lot of the classes are geared to children, but as far as I could tell the MMA classes were for teens/adults only.November 12, 2014 at 2:26 am #89351lions2011MemberRe: Looking for a Good Supplement to Krav
Is your goal self defense and hobby or do you want to compete in MMA.
You could look into BJJ or Muay Thai class along with Krav.

I am planning to try this cool BJJ foundation class nearby this summer.
Right now i do Krav and MT and tennis. But I am probably older than you and can only handle so much on my body.
I would avoid Judo as the injures are pretty scary.November 14, 2014 at 10:57 pm #89359getmoppedupMemberRe: Looking for a Good Supplement to Krav
I cross train BJJ krav is lacking in ground work so BJJ fits in nicely

If the place has an old school golden gloves boxer and a Gracie BJJ guy Id say definitely worth a shot and try it out.

You will find Muay Thai much more fun than Boxing. MT is far more interesting because you can throw tons of other strikes. Boxing is not really that fun. Plus MT sparing tends to focus more on light timing. Why boxing gyms can get pretty heated and hardcore.
The best MT fighters on the planet do more timing than hardcore sparing. I would look into MT. -
