All right, folks, I need help!
Please list your favorite songs to work out by. Give me some songs for fight classes, general cardio workout stuff and Krav Maga background stuff. I’m a geezer and really need some help here!
Thanks in advance! 8)

I’m trying to fit in Verdi’s Dies Irae into the mix. I’ve ran Mozart’s Dies and Confutatis with mixed results.

How about Orff’s Carmina Burana? It was the fight music for \”Excalibur\” (like 20 years ago?) \”Mars\” from The Planets by Holst would make a good soundtrack too.

November 7, 2007 at 3:37 am #57661downforlife76MemberI workout to good East Coast style hardcore. Some of the stuff can be hard to find, but if you type it into emusic, itunes, or just google it to get cd’s you can find it.
Anything by:
Rykers
Terror
North Side Kings
Agnostic Front (Particularly the album “Another Voice”)
Madball
Warzone
Stigmata
Death Before Dishonor (STRONGLY recomend for intense workouts)
Guns Up!
Donnybrook
Hatebreed
Bad Luck 13 Riot Extravaganza (Don’t go to their shows unless you are proficient in defending against numerous attackers with baseball bats!… Not kidding)

Sorry to revive such an old post! I thought it would be better / more relevant to share it here than creating a new thread.
Below is a new album for Stop Cancer / The Marni Fund™ that was inspired by Krav Maga Worldwide™’s classes and instructors. There’s some specific songs on here where the lyrics were literally what I’ve heard KMW instructors say – although there’s some paraphrasing to make it work rhythmically…but you get the idea.
http://soundcloud.com/kenhyland/sets/punch_kick_run
It’s a free download for those that register for the Run/Walk on Oct. 2nd, or for those that simply make a donation.
Full disclosure: I’m the dude singing, and trust me, it took all of my being to not have this come off as a lame plug. But, it’s for a good cause and it’s free to those that register or donate.
Hope you enjoy!

Ken,
Great stuff! I wish I would have known about your stuff earlier! The first 5 or 6 songs are probably the best! I wonder, does the non-krav world know the meanings of the lyrics, or do they just think it is edgy or angry?
I really enjoyed the krav music, and even the other ‘stuff’ lol.
You should figure a way to get the word spread to the schools- thanx, a new fan!
