Naked Pumpkin Run in Boulder, CO

For those of you who don’t have the privilege of living just down the road from Boulder, CO: apparently there is a Naked Pumpkin Run (on the Pearl Street Mall) every Halloween, but this year they ended up with “hundreds” of participants. http://tinyurl.com/6mn7w3 :jerry:

I think its pretty dumb that they were actually ticketing people over this. It looked like a pretty wholesome event – America can be so prude sometimes.

let me see if i get this right

1 cut up pumpkin and put pumpkin oh head
2 remove clothing
3 put clothing into trashbag
4 run dow sidewalk naked
5 hi 5 everybody (with pumpkin guts on hand that is NOT holding trash bag of clothing)
6 say hi to police officer
7 say hi to judge and ask how much the fine is for public indecency

all i have is two questions
1 what bar sponsers this event
2 where do i sign up

On the news this AM it was reported that the 12 people ticketed if convicted will have to register as sex offenders. :OhMy:

I love Boulder – the location is one of the most beautiful places in the world I’ve lived in. But the politics – 😡

Here’s a follow up to the Naked Pumpkin Run news – (despite being accused afterwards of posting porn on the forum rofl2) – http://tinyurl.com/5kznt4. I especially like the part where one of the accused says he figured there was “safety in numbers…”

Personally I think they probably have much more serious crimes to investigate/prosecute but on the flip side I’m not sure it’s such a great idea to do something just because everybody else is.
