I have to say I like this. I’m not a gun-nut, but I do like places where you can defend yourself reasonably and not necessarily have to face a jury.
Lethal Force
Try the link over at CNN http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/04/05/deadly.force.ap/index.html
This Bill is about Deadly force and not being required by law to retreat from a violent situation, this brings Florida in line with the majority of the other states. It is not about just guns as some news articles would have you think.
Great news for Florida. Now we need the same common sense in the Michigan legislature.
Does anyone know what the laws in Texas are considering you are able to carry a concealed handgun anywhere in the state with a few exceptions?
Finally I can just kill somebody instead of having to run! (just kidding- I’m from California, so I’m allowed to make jokes like this)
This is a great website detailing gun laws in the U.S.
I hope these new and useful Florida laws will be a standard for other states to follow in many years to come.
What if you kill someone without a gun? Does that law still protect you?
