I figured y’all would get a kick out of this. It looks like it’s some sort of unregulated MMA type fight. The long haired guy is supposedly using Capoeira, and it doesn’t really help him all that much.

I LOVE that scene. It’s so Krav to me. Just punch him so hard he doesn’t get up. Or as my instructors often say “it better be the punch of your life.”

Yeah, its from the movie “Never Back Down”, it “feels” so real because its footage from an angle not used in the movie, i think. It¥s a really nice scene, even if the guy’s character in the movie was kind of an a-hole. :Surprised:

I’ve never seen the movie ’cause it looked like it was a remake of Fast & Furious with Fists… I did think it was odd that the guy was soooo flashy. Even if that stuff works, you’d think any semi-professional fighter would have quickly learn to tone things down a bit.
I wonder if someone made it all grainy and shaky on purpose… If so, they sure fooled me into thinking it was the real deal.

This movie had it’s value from an entertainment standpoint, but is no barometer of fighting or MMA. Since i love both (:-D) it was a rather funny movie.
But for realsies, if a dude standin across from me started with some fancy TKD or Ka Ra Te Bull Sh Tay I’d laugh, then throw a right hand straight down their windpipe 🙂Oh, and a sweet Liver-Shot to give props to BAS!!!!
