something like krav maga

hi
i am new on this forum
first of all my english is very bad

i think that krav maga is very good for selfdefense
and i wana learn selfdefense
i am from slovenia
and i think that here we dont have krav maga
so could someone help me
is there any other martial art that is like krav maga ?
every day it is more dangerous , and thats why i vould like to defend myself

what have i noticed is that some martial art is not enough efective
they teach something that you can not use when someone attack you
someone i know was a year ago in a hospital because of a drunk guy

Hi there Iceboy and welcome to the Krav Maga forum. The recommend taking Muay Thai and Brazilian JuJitsu as your martial art if there isnt a Krav Maga school. All of our standup in Krav is very similar to the Muay Thai standup. The Brazilian JuJitsu will teach you to defend yourself on the ground. I highly recommend you take these martial arts if you wanna be able to defend yourself. Good Luck 😀

Muay Thai and BJJ would be my recommendation as well, however you will learn no weapons defenses,

Get the Krav Maga videos and practise the Weapons defenses with a friend.
Make sure you practise at real speed, and realisticly.

Wont be as good as haviung a KM class nearby, but you have to make due with what you have!
