I’m reading a good book right now its David Kahn’s Krav Maga and I’m learning about stance and blocking right now and trying to build up my cardio, but what worries me is my Technique its all sloppy and I’m afried that if I dont train with a trainer then I wont be affective. Any Ideas would be appreciated, Thanks in Advance!
Re: Techniques Question???
How about getting another book “Complete Krav Maga” by John Whitman and Darren Levine. It explains the techniques in much more detail than the David Kahn book and it has hundreds of pictures, too. You could also get the Krav Maga DVDs or videos, they show all of the little details as well.
It’s always better to have a trainer, but if you get together with a friend and read those books, maybe you can learn at least the basics. You could also take Muay Thai classes to learn about punching, kicking, moving in a fighting stance and so forth, then learn the KM techniques from the book.
